The Engagement Dinner
Rhea & Abdulrahman’s engagement was celebrated with the elegance and soul of a true Saudi engagement party or Saudi melkah, reimagined by the Mediterranean. A prestigious beach club on the frontline of Marbella was reserved exclusively for the couple and their guests, transforming into a stage of beauty and tradition.
Hundreds of glowing candles lit the night, resembling a celestial sky above the sea. Rhea arrived in a pastel blue gown—soft, delicate, and perfectly in tune with the floral design that embraced the entire space in pastel blues, whites, and greens. At the entrance, a bespoke linen welcome sign decorated with flowers greeted guests with the couple’s names, a poetic prologue to the evening.
The cocktail reception unfolded outdoors with Cuban rhythms and a bar of signature cocktails named after the couple’s pets, offering a personal touch to every toast. Fans were gifted to the ladies and hats to the gentlemen—an elegant gesture of comfort under the warm Andalusian evening.
Dinner followed inside at long imperial tables, where floral centrepieces echoed the bride’s refined vision. A talented DJ curated the atmosphere, creating an elegant crescendo leading into a night of joy. The cake, pure white and dressed with pastel blooms, was cut in celebration before dancing filled the hours until dawn.
