Caroline & Wei’s celebration was a masterpiece of destination wedding design in Spain, unfolding over four days in Marbella’s most iconic venues. From the Mediterranean glamour of Marbella, to a barefoot beach party, to the serene elegance of their luxury wedding ceremony and the grandeur of a candlelit gala dinner, every moment reflected their modern, joyful, and international spirit.

Planned and styled with precision by Sira Antequera, the acclaimed Spanish wedding planner for high-end international couples, this was a true example of luxury weddings in Marbella — where impeccable event production, emotional design, and curated gastronomy merged into an unforgettable experience.

Ceremony

The luxury wedding ceremony in Marbella took place in the romantic amphitheatre gardens, one of the most sought-after wedding venues in Spain. The palette was restrained and serene: creamy whites, ivory, and soft greens. Hydrangeas, lisianthus, garden roses, and peonies lined the aisle beneath the cypress trees, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Caroline walked in an ethereal couture gown by Mira Zwillinger, paired with a Monique Lhuillier veil and Stuart Weitzman heels, carrying a bouquet of white peonies. Her bridesmaids, in olive satin gowns, each held matching bouquets — a detail that echoed the harmony of bespoke wedding design. Wei wore a custom black tuxedo by Caroline Andrew, accessorised with Cartier cufflinks and Church’s shoes.

Reception & Gala Dinner

As the evening transitioned, the celebration bloomed into colour — a hallmark of emotional wedding experiences in Spain. The grand staircase was adorned with florals in pink, peach, coral, and apricot tones, illuminated by over a hundred candles.

The courtyard dinner featured blush linens, gold-rimmed porcelain chargers, pink crystal glassware, and gold-brushed flatware. Mint-green velvet lounges contrasted softly with the terracotta architecture, creating curated lounge spaces among lush floral clouds.

Dinner showcased Spanish haute cuisine at its finest: lobster salad in tomato jelly, Angus tenderloin with celery purée, and pavlova with red berries, paired with Albariño, Rioja, and Champagne. Caroline later changed into a crystal mini-dress by Clio Peppiatt for the after-party, where music, candlelight, and Sweet Caroline filled the night until dawn.
